Our purpose
Claim your place in the AI era. Help someone else enter it.
Helping people living with cognitive challenges caused by illness gain access to, understand and learn how to use AI. AI can help with learning, structuring information, writing, understanding complex material, everyday tasks, education and work — and can compensate for cognitive limitations that make those things harder.
The commitment
90% of the project surplus is committed to projects that help people with cognitive challenges caused by illness access, understand and learn how to use AI. The remaining 10% stays in the business to operate, administer and continue developing the project.
Project surplus = sales revenue excluding VAT, refunds, payment processing fees and direct operating costs.
This is a commitment made by the project, not a registered charity, and it is not tax deductible. There is no donation checkout: participants simply buy pixels, and the commitment comes from the economics of the project itself. No partnership with any organisation is claimed unless it is named on this page.
Numbers so far
Project surplus is calculated after VAT, refunds, payment processing fees and direct operating costs, so it is not shown here until the first accounting period is closed. Committed funding and money actually paid out are kept as separate numbers, and future commitments are never presented as distributed.
Transparency
No projects funded yet. The first projects will be selected as The AI Era Homepage begins generating real surplus. Every project we support will be published here, with the amount, the date and what the funding is intended to achieve.
